Dental Crown and Bridgework
Restore your smile and your confidence.
A dental crown, whether made from ceramic or metal, covers a structurally damaged tooth to restore integrity. Deep cavities, teeth with root canals, large fillings, chips or cracks may require a crown. In most cases, your dentist will place an all ceramic or porcelain fused to metal crown on your tooth so that your smile remains natural looking.
A dental bridge is a fixed, non-removable restoration used to replace a missing tooth or teeth. It is made by creating a crown for the teeth on either side of the space and placing a false tooth or teeth between the adjacent crowns.
How we can help: You should expect two visits with Dr. Carrie Hansen for a crown or bridge procedure. At the first appointment, She will prepare the damaged tooth or teeth, take an impression, and place a temporary restoration. The dental lab will then fabricate a custom crown or bridge according to the impression. At your follow-up visit, the temporary will be removed and the permanent restoration will be secured.
